BLESSING NGWA MAKES HEADLINES IN THE USA NAIA MEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

Ngwa Blessing is an American based Cameroonian soccer player, playing in the NAIA National Men's Soccer Championship in the USA. He has playes this role of Goal Kepper ever since his child hood and back in the Secondary School and currently the Goal Keeper of Kansas Wesleyan. Recently, he was selected as the best defensive player of the week in the NAIA National Men's Soccer Championship. This was referred from the NAIA's official website:

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Severin Abt of Thomas (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Blessing Ngwa of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. They were selected based on their performances from Sept. 8 – 14 and were chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week selections.

• Helped lead Kansas Wesleyan to a perfect 3-0 week that included wins over a pair of nationally ranked opponents on the road.
• Was part of a 1-0 shutout victory at No. 13-ranked Benedictine (Kan.) behind five saves.
• Was instrumental in KWU's overtime 2-1 win over No. 10-ranked Concordia (Calif.) with six saves.
• Recorded six saves en route to earning his second shutout of the week against Westmont (Calif.) in a 1-0 overtime win.
• Total of 17 saves on the week and had a .317 GAA during the week.
• Earns first career NAIA National Player of the Week honor.
